OK so I found out that my great grandmother( or her father I don't relay know but I know its one of them) is creole. She is Louisiana creole and don't that make part creole.

Yes that does make you creole but there are two different types of creoles. One defenition of creole was a person of French or Spanish descent that was born in the Louisiana colony. This term was used to distinguish themselves from those born in Europe. The second definition was a person who was not enslaved and was of European and African descent and was born in Louisiana. This term was used by people who did not want to label themselves as white or black but as both. Both creoles may also have had Native American ancestry.
