Where can I find listings of Hotels in New Orleans with vacancies for the end of February?

I'm also from New Orleans and most of the hotels there have changed their numbers since Katrina so it's kind of hard to get a hold of.

I would start right from Yahoo and look under travel or under Yahoo local, this will give you a detailed list of hotels.



My experience is not all motels are listed.



AAA website might be also a good source and often I go to the direct websites of the motels such as La Quinta, Holiday Inn, Micro Motel etal.

The end of February is Mardi Gras, so I wouldn't suggest making reservations on the internet, I would call the hotels direct. Good luck finding a room, it will be very difficult due to the lack of rooms due to Katrina.

That is a tough one, but the Hotels are getting back to normal rather fast.
